American Airlines has partnered with celebrated designer Brandon Blackwood to debut a line of limited-edition amenity kits for premium cabin passengers.

Known for his sleek, fashion-forward handbags, Blackwood brings his signature style to the skies in a move that blends luxury with travel utility.
Rolling out this summer on select international and transcontinental flights, each kit is designed to reflect both functionality and fashion. First and Business Class passengers will receive pouches inspired by Blackwood’s viral Portmore bag, while Premium Economy guests will get a bold, checkered design pouch—perfect for reuse after landing.
The collaboration reflects American Airlines’ push to appeal to a younger, design-conscious traveler. It also marks a full-circle moment for Blackwood, who called the opportunity to design for an airline a personal milestone.
Inside each kit: skincare products, refreshing wipes, lip balm, and other travel essentials—thoughtfully curated for comfort and self-care at 30,000 feet.
